The start of a typical day in Dhaka...

In preparation for NECC06 and the Podcast Bangladesh presentation here is a short video showing the start of a typical day in Dhaka. Technically this is not a podcast or a vodcast...it is a movie created using footage taken on the journey to school, International School Dhaka, over a few mornings. The video is hosted on blip.tv, free web hosting for multimedia artefacts.

Podcast Bangladesh: The Day Begins in Dhaka Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the video. Considering BD is one of the most populous countries in the world, the roads looked quite empty.
Looks like you are having a good time!

Thank you. I found this drive to be so interesting. I am a teacher in Port Jefferson, NY and I would love to do a vodcast like this one. Wouldn't it be great to show the morning commutes of children around the world? Would you be interested in posting this podcast on a site along with one a similar one from a child in my class? We could invite others from around the world to do the same.

We are participating in a role to speed up the target of Digital Bangladesh. This Twenty first century people are not traditional & dont want to bound by family wishes & socity pressure .This is the time of communication technology to proper use.If the family bound someone to marry with unspected people then the family dont run so fast and get meantally weakness of them. So we are tring to help people to make relation, marriage by making friendship & choices from large numbers of list.

People are so busy to reach their target and live .They dont get enough time to select the right partner & sometimes if they get but both cant be agree in the traditional way.So we are helping the busy people to make a nice family with his/her partner.
